Tim, a friend I shared a room with when I was in Texas, whom I hadn't seen in 19 years, came to Alaska in August. Here's a picture of Tim, his son Charlie, and his Dad Gil.
We didn't get to do much together, besides drink some tequila and beer. He got to fish a bit, and experience a bit of Alaska, including near $5.00 a gallon gasoline. Hopefully We'll get down to Minnesota (which I hear is a suburb of Iowa) someday and, , well, , drink more tequila and beer.
