Superjail is another "Adult Swim" cartoon on Cartoon Network. It's about a huge jail, built in a volcano, which is inside a bigger volcano.
Superjail is a cartoon that defies explanation. It's almost entirely random with very little plot. It takes place in Superjail, a place that defies the laws of physics and reality, and appears to house thousands, if not millions of inmates.

Here is Jack Knife, spending his first 90 seconds free from "real" jail. See if you can
figure out what 5 illegal acts he commits in his first 15 seconds of freedom.

Almost every episode starts with Jack Knife doing something illegal and getting captured by Jailbot and brought to Superjail, and almost every episode ends with him escaping again. Jailbot is one of the two guards and is a large white floating robot, the other is Alice, and the only other recurring characters are Warden, Jared, and "The Twins". Warden comes up with all kinds of crazy ideas, Jared stresses out over and impliments them, and The Twins just screw everything up intentionally. From time to time Warden makes romantic advances toward Alice, apparently oblivious of her deep voice, body hair, and apparent "package". Warden's ideas come from just about anything, boredom, dreams, and even his pursuit of Alice.

Here is some typical Superjail mayhem.

Every episode has some roit or other instance of mass violence with large numbers of the seemingly unlimited supply of inmates killed or maimed. The above clip shows what happens when The Twins outfit all the inmates in wolf and bunny costumes.

Superjail is a pretty funny show, but it's randomness and creativity are amazing. Scenes flow together in fairly meaningless, yet entertaining ways.
